This research-driven project looks into the importance of Kraftwerk’s visual identity. It explores their appropriation of cultures, movements and art styles in order to prompt a utopian future and change the narrative of post-war German identity, through music and design. The output speculates the emergence of the paradigm shifting group in today’s music industry.
